This is the Coles County, Illinois, Supervisor of Assessments' online home.

My reason for establishing this Web site is to answer many of the common questions taxpayers have about property valuation, exemptions, assessments, and taxes.

The Supervisor of Assessments Office is responsible for identifying and determining a market value for all property in Coles County, from residential and farmland to commercial and industrial.

This Office:

Adds new subdivisions to the tax rolls
Processes legal descriptions for deeds
Maintains declaration sheets for sales ratio studies
Administers property tax exemptions, and
Assists the Board of Review in its hearings on assessment complaints
