Correctional Officer

The Coles County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for Certified Correctional Officers to join our family. Individuals applying for this position must be certified as a Correctional Officer and require no additional mandatory training.

UPDATE:

The Coles County Sheriff's Office will be conducting Physical Testing for Corrections on July 7, 2017 at 9am at Lance Gym located at Eastern Illinois University. Application MUST be turned in to the Coles County Sheriff's Office before physical testing can be completed. There will be a Physical Ability Test Release and Waiver form (will be at physical testing) that will be required to be signed before physical testing can be done.

Animal Control Officer

WIC/FCM RN

Coles County Health Department has an immediate opening for a full time RN in WIC/FCM Program. 8:30am-4:30pm M-F. No weekends, midnights, or scheduled on-call.

Excellent benefits - 13 paid holidays. $35,000 per year. Experience with maternal and child health desired.

Telecommunications Position

The Coles County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for Telecommunication position. This position is a union position and works inside the Jail on a 12 hour shift rotation. The starting salary for this position is $22,770.21. Ideal applicant must possess the ability to multitask, use radio, ability to use computers to include data entry, and light filing. Retirement is through IMRF with different health insurance options. 80 hours of vacation after one (1) year of service, three (3) personal days, and 8 hours of accrued sick leave per month.
