 The key dates for the 2009 real estate tax cycle are as follows:

May 22, 2009 -- Target date for mailing tax bills; tax information will be available after this date.

June 26, 2009 -- Due date for first installment of real estate taxes.

Sept. 4, 2009 -- Due date for second installment of real estate taxes.

Sept. 25, 2009 -- Last day to pay with personal check.

Sept. 25, 2009 -- Target date to mail certified notice of delinquent taxes.

Oct. 1, 2009 (at NOON) -- Final day for payment prior to publication.

Oct. 2, 2009 -- Due date for tax buyers "Intent to Purchase" tax sales lists available at $50 each in the Treasurer's Office.

Oct. 6, 2009 -- Publication of delinquent list.

Oct. 16, 2009 -- Apply for Judgment.

Oct. 19, 2009 -- Tax sale.
