| The Coles
County Board of Review hears complaints from property owners who don't
agree with the assessed value on their property. The Supervisor of Assessments office assists the Board of Review during hearings on assessment complaints. Members of the Board of Review include:
Illinois Statutes require the Board of Review to publish its Rules and Regulations. Among the topics covered are when and where the board is to convene and how the process works. Details on Assessment Appeals -- including reasons for an appeal,
evidence needed, and a description of the appeals process -- also are
